2023 QUAA Awards Gala

On June 17, 2023, the QUAA Awards Gala returned to Kingston. The evening offered the entire alumni community the opportunity to take part in the QUAA’s marquee event with in-person and virtual options that were designed to bring the entire community together.

Dr. Malcolm Peat Lectureship

The ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s Lecture Series partnered with the School of Rehabilitation Therapy and the International Centre for the Advancement of Community Based Rehabilitation (ICACBR) to bring Neema Namadamu to ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s University for the fifth annual Dr. Malcolm Peat Lectureship on April 20, 2023.

Open Plastics Lecture

On Nov. 11, 2022 the Faculty of Arts & Science presented the inaugural Open Plastics Lectureship featuring Dr. Uwe T. Bornscheuer. Dr. Bornscheuer presented recent progress in engineering technology to speed up the process of breaking down plastic to support Canada's efforts to achieve zero plastic waste by 2030.

11 members of the alumni community honoured at 2022 QUAA Awards Gala

On June 9, 2022, the ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s University Alumni Association hosted its first-ever hybrid QUAA Awards Gala. Hosted by Lisa Hood, Artsci’04, this fully immersive hybrid gala was designed to bring the entire alumni community together to connect, celebrate, and share in tricolour traditions.

On May 19, six ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s University alumni from various disciplines volunteered their time to speak to an intimate group of recent graduates at The Golden Ticket event. They shared their experiences, words of encouragement, and a few ingredients that if combined could be a recipe to future success.
