Jamie Anderson, Hodkinson was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada in recognition of "his pioneering and extensive contributions to the preservation and conservation of Canada's cultural heritage."
Professor Hodkinson's time at 国产91尤物福利在线观看's began in the Fine Arts program in 1969, and he founded the Master of Art Conservation Program in 1974. He served as the Head of the Restoration and Conservation Laboratory at the National Gallery of Canada from 1977-79, and subsequently returned to 国产91尤物福利在线观看's as a Professor of Fine Art Conservation and Program Director. After his official retirement in 1995, he remained active in Canadian and international conservation projects.
