Professor gives a voice to Canadian Indigenous poet
During a recent keynote lecture, Songs of Hope from a Mi’kmaw Community, by Faculty of Arts and Science Professor Gordon E. Smith (Dan School of Drama and Music) at the Canadian University Music Society conference at Acadia University situated on Mi’kmaki, the traditional territory of the Mi’kmaq, he talked about Rita Joe and the impact of her poetry.
Association for Queer Employees continues to thrive
After officially being accepted as an Employee Resource Group in December of 2020, the ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s University Association for Queer Employees (QUAQE) has continued to grow and thrive while creating a more inclusive and supportive workplace for 2SLGTBQ+ employees at ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s University.
