MSGP is hosting a talk by Dr Murray Hogben entitled “Not a Minaret in Sight: Early Muslims in Canada” on Oct 22 at 7 pm in 202 Robert Sutherland Hall @ ����91���︣�����߹ۿ�’s. Murray Hogben recently published “Minarets on the Horizon: Muslim Pioneers in Canada” including stories from interviews over decades within the Muslim community in Canada. 

Islamic History Month was launched in 2007 with Kingston participating since its inception.  This year’s theme is “Pioneering Muslims Communities in Canada: Cultivating Spaces for Comfort, Growth and Learning Over Time”
