The 2021 Kingston Canadian Film Festival goes fully digital for the first time in twenty-one years, February 26-March 7. As usual, there are lots of connections to ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s at KCFF this year, including feature films by alumni like Suzanne Crocker, Ryan Noth and Matthew Bissonnette.
The KCFF short film program boasts over ten films created by ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s students and alum, and the popular Breaking In career event features ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s alum panelists who work on shows like Letterkenney, Big Brother Canada, and CBC.
In 2001, KCFF was founded by a ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s film student (Alex Jansen) and is now directed by ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s History grad Marc Garniss.
KCFF continues to work closely with the ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s Film Department and employs many students through internships and paid work-study.
