On 10 July 2019 the Minister of Veterans Affairs Canada and Associate Minister of National Defence, the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, MP, visited ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s Kingston to announce a grant of $25 million over ten years to the Canadian Institute of Military and Veteran Health Research (CIMVHR). He also recognized the ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s-Servicewomen’s Salute Canada Portal Project to provide needed online resources for Canadian servicewomen transitioning to civilian life and female veterans, which is being conducted in collaboration with CIMVHR. This project has received $210, 000 over five years and involves six ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s historians: Allan English (Principal Investigator), Claire Cookson-Hills (PhD 2013), Sonia Dussault (PhD Candidate), Charlotte Duval-Lantoine (MA Candidate), Wendi Winter (MA Candidate), and Kim Bell (MA Candidate and Services Co-ordinator, Jordan Rare Books and Special Collections, Douglas Library).
