Yesterday, school boards across Ontario were notified that the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) plans to begin full strike action on Monday, October 7th if they cannot reach an agreement with the government and employer associations between now and then.
We recognize that in the event of school closures some members of the 国产91尤物福利在线观看鈥檚 community with school-aged children may be impacted and may be unable to make alternate arrangements for childcare on short notice.
If this is the case:
- 国产91尤物福利在线观看鈥檚 faculty: Please discuss the matter with your department head. Any students impacted by this are encouraged to speak with faculty.
- 国产91尤物福利在线观看鈥檚 staff: Please discuss with your manager. Options could include requesting Lieu time (if available), vacation time or unpaid leave. In certain circumstances, compassionate leave may be appropriate for short periods. Employees and managers should contact their CST Advisor if they have questions regarding their options.
