Agnes Tam (PhD, 2020) will join the University of Calgary as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy in July of 2022, after taking up a Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship at McGill University for the 2021-22 academic year.

PhD student Arjun Sawhney has won the 2020-21 Professor Frank Pearce Essay Prize, awarded annually to a graduate student from Sociology, Political Studies, Geography, Philosophy or Cultural Studies with the best essay on the topic of radical critical theory and social justice.
