We are a diverse group of Muslim faculty and staff, inclusive of Teaching Assistants and Student employees, all at 国产91尤物福利在线观看鈥檚 University, seeking to establish a network of fellow community members who feel inspired by, or a sense of belonging to the faith of Islam. First and foremost, we strive to be a safe space for those who identify as Muslim on campus to support one another through building and strengthening of connections within the community.
How to Connect
QUMIN utilizes its MS Teams group to relay information which may be of interest to Muslim faculty and staff on campus from the Islamic Society of Kingston, QUMSA, MSGP, etc. This includes items like lectures, Islamic History Month activities, the Give 30 campaign, and recruitment for studies and other ERGs that may be of relevance to some members of the group.
Most importantly, it has become a means by which Muslim faculty and staff can connect with each other, as it has proven to be difficult to meet in person due to scheduling conflicts.
The Teams group is also a repository of resources which may be beneficial to members including a list of Halal grocery stores/restaurants in Kingston, as well as NCCM resources.
