    Rob Renaud was recently appointed president of a new privately held boutique commercial real estate consulting and brokerage firm called ENCOR Advisors. Headquartered in downtown Toronto and building on the 50-year legacy of Devencore, ENCOR Advisors was launched as the evolution of a top-performing team under a new generation of leadership with a passion for delivering better value for their clients. Rob has 25 years of industry experience being an advocate for and advisor to executives and managers with respect to their office and industrial real estate strategies and transactions – in Toronto, across Canada, and globally.

    Tracy, Artsci’93, Sc’95, MBA’00 (Laurier), and Charles, Sc’95, MSc’97, MBA’05 (York), wish to announce that their son Charles (Hayden) is attending ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s this September. The two moved Hayden into Brant Hall on September 2, their 22nd wedding anniversary and exactly 30 years after they met at ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s in 1991. Hayden is studying engineering and applied science, and is a Chancellor’s Award recipient. Tracy and Charles live in the UK (with their daughter).

    Thomas Minde

    Thomas Minde has moved to Montreal, where he is assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill. He enjoys his work as a psychotherapist, treating mental health problems, and teaching. He is currently the chair of the Medical Psychotherapy Association of Canada.

    Richard Manley-Tannis and Rev. Shelly Manley-Tannis

    Richard and Shelley would like to announce that they both completed their PhDs through the Taos Institute and Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Richard was awarded his doctorate in practical theology and relational construction in Tilburg, Feb. 17, 2020.

    For the past three years, Richard, who is also a commissioned diaconal minister in the United Church of Canada, has held the position of the principal of St. Andrew’s College, a United Church theological school at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Sask.

    Rev. Shelly Manley-Tannis became an ordained minister after graduating from ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s Theological College in 2001 and currently works with the congregation of Mayfair United Church in Saskatoon, Sask.

    Julie Thompson Blamires

    This year Julie completed her PhD in Health Science; she is working as a lecturer at the University of Auckland, as well as managing a successful marriage and raising two beautiful children. ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s University gave Julie a solid platform from which she could launch her aspirations into our world.

    Julie began her journey working at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Julie later completed a master’s degree in nursing science while working at the Children’s Hospital in Auckland.

    Lawrence Palmer

    After graduating, Larry supply-taught welding for two years, and he then supply-taught computer programming for one year. He then became headmaster of electronics training at Herzing Institute and later became the engineering technologist for OMYA Canada outside Perth. He retired from there at 65.
