Go Abroad Fair showcases a world of possibilities

The ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´’s Go Abroad Fair, hosted by the ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´’s University International Centre (QUIC), is an annual event that has run for two decades on campus. It is part of an education abroad fair circuit that collaborates with other post-secondary institutions in Ontario to allow exhibitors at the fairs the opportunity to meet with students at many universities and colleges in the province.

“The ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´’s Go Abroad Fair is an excellent venue for students to find out about a wide range of opportunities for going abroad,” says Laura Marchese-Smith, Education Abroad Advisor, QUIC. “QUIC aims to support and inform students’ international endeavours throughout their time at ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´’s. The fair provides a great starting point to explore their options.”

Exhibitors at the ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´’s Go Abroad Fair include ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´’s programs – the International Programs Office for faculty-specific exchanges and study options, the Bader International Study Centre, ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´’s-Blyth Worldwide, and student-run initiatives such as ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´’s Project on International Development (QPID) and AIESEC ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´’s – and external organizations offering opportunities to study, work, volunteer, teach English, or learn a language abroad such as Spanish Studies Abroad, Teach Away, Semester at Sea, and many more.
