Fudan delegation visits ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´'s

A delegation from Fudan University, one of China’s leading institutions, paid a visit to ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s this week as their only Canadian stop on a larger North American tour. Former Fudan President Yang Yuliang led the delegation, which toured the ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s University Biological Station and the new Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts before attending meetings and events with Principal Woolf and other ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s representatives.

The visit also included a special reception with both Fudan students currently studying at ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s, and ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´'s students, some of whom had studied at Fudan as part of an coordinated by the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures (LLCU).

Located in Shanghai, Fudan is one of ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s strongest Chinese partner institutions, with a number of ongoing academic and research partnerships. It also plays host to . Principal Woolf and a delegation from ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s visited the university in 2012.

Internationalization is a priority for ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s and one of the key drivers in its strategic framework. China is one of the university’s international areas of focus as it seeks to enhance its international student recruitment efforts and research prominence.
