Join Dale Lackeyram, Director of the Centre for Teaching and Learning for an hour-long webinar focused on this year’s nominations for the Principal’s Teaching and Learning Awards.

Learn what is new for 2023 and how best to nominate an individual or group. The webinar will be valuable to first-time nominators, as well as those who have submitted in the past. Plan to attend on October 4 to learn valuable skills for responding to the criteria and crafting an effective nomination.

Topics of discussion will include the required components of successful awards, the evaluation criteria and process, and strategies that enrich and strengthen a competitive nomination.

The webinar will include a Q&A period.

You are invited to attend a BBQ on Tuesday, July 11 at Agnes Benidickson Field (behind Grant Hall) from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. A large tent will be set up in case of rain and new this year, accessibility mats will be in use to provide a smooth and stable surface. Hospitality Services will be providing our meal. Members of the Senior Leadership Team will be on hand to help serve your lunch and to personally thank you for your service and commitment to ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s.

 To encourage everyone to attend, employees travelling to campus for the BBQ should be aware that parking restrictions on surface lots will not be enforced between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on July 11.

 In accordance with our campus commitment to sustainability and reducing waste, the BBQ will be zero-waste with compostable materials and multi-sort recycling and organics bins with visual guides available on-site. All untouched, unconsumed food will be distributed to a local agency for distribution to those in need. 

 Additionally, non-perishable food items will be accepted at the BBQ on behalf of the .
