Today, we learned of the discovery of hundreds of unmarked graves near the former Marieval Indian Residential School in Saskatchewan. While we await further information, it is expected that the discovery may be over three times higher than the 215 bodies of children recently found in Kamloops.
Following the unveiling of the ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s Strategic Framework, six working groups have now begun their work to advance the strategy towards its next stage. Today, ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s University announced that it will require all students, staff, and faculty returning to campus to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Students, staff and faculty will need to be fully vaccinated or have a plan to do so, by Sept. 7. This requirement will also apply to all visitors to the ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´'s campus.

That is why on Aug. 26 we strengthened our safety measures against COVID-19 by joining other universities and colleges in Ontario in implementing mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements. Under the new policy, all individuals (students, staff, faculty, contractors, and visitors) who are participating in university activities in person, either on ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s campus or other ¹ú²ú91ÓÈÎ︣ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´â€™s property, must be vaccinated.
